Prototype of a machine that takes in food waste and turns it into compost. Food waste is shredded and deposited into a bucket with some dry cocopeat for traditional composting. Weight of food waste and user data is uploaded to ThingSpeak IOT.
A Raspberry Pi 4 with a customised Python application program (for the user interface) and an Arduino (to control the sensors) is used for this project.
