Prototype of an emergency communication system used in rural areas where there is no cellular network. If people get lost or injured, they can look for the nearest emergency communication box and press a button. A distress signal will be sent to a base medical station located in the nearest town. The method of communication is using Long Range (LoRa) radio which has a line-of-sight range of several kilometres.
