An augmented reality (AR) installation explaining what a circular economy is – one that has zero waste. ‘Precious Waste’ conveys the notion that waste need not be ‘wasteful’ and can be a precious resource to spur a circular economy. A life cycle of a tree is superimposed as an AR layer over a model of a circular economy to show how nature recycles its nutrients. A mobile phone is used to see the AR layer, including four short videos illustrating real world examples of how a circular economy can work. The installation is made up entirely of waste material and is part of the MeshMinds 1.0: ArtxTechforGood inaugural launch exhibition.
