Description
The River is a light sculpture created with the Singapore River as the main concept. Sound samples denoting life along the river were recorded during a field trip along the Singapore River. The sound samples were then combined into a soundtrack that is the basis for the pattern animation of the light sculpture. This artwork was exhibited at I Light Marina Bay 2012 and Siggraph Asia 2012. This was done as a class project supervised by our programme coordinator Andreas Schlegel.
